Dear Parents/Guardians,
Today, Monday, December 21, the Ontario Government announced a province-wide lockdown which will impact the start of school in January 2021.
Based on today’s announcement and information provided by the Ministry of Education, we can share the following information:
- Elementary students province-wide will participate in remote learning from January 4-January 8, 2021. Wellington Catholic Elementary School students can return to in-person learning on January 11, 2021.
- Wellington Catholic Secondary School students will participate in remote learning from January 4-January 25, 2021, at which point they can resume in-person learning.
Additional information concerning the return to learning in January will be available during the week of December 28, 2020. Details will include information about expectations for remote learning as well as the process for accessing technology for students.
